Here at rotoplanner.com, we use a standard $50,000 dollar salary cap. With that in mind, here is my daily line up for today.
P: Mike Foltynewicz, vs. Phillies ($6,500): Folty is a strikeout pitcher and I like him against the free swinging Phillies.
P: David Price vs. Rays ($10,100): Price will flirt with double digit strikeouts against his former team.
C: Austin Hedges vs. Brewers ($2,900): Hedges is cheap and offers hone run potential.
1B: Eric Thames vs. Padres ($4,100): Thames gets his first start of the season against a relative unknown in Joey Lucchesi.
2B: Ian Happ vs. Marlins ($4,700): Happ will feast on the weak Marlins line up all weekend long.
3B: Travis Shaw vs. Padres ($4,700): I love the match up for the Brewers line up against Joey Lucchesi.
SS: Didi Gregorius vs. Blue Jays ($3,900): A cheap power source against a Blue Jays staff that gives up a lot of home runs at home.
OF: Cody Bellinger vs. Giants ($4,400): I like the match up against Johnny Cueto in Chavez Revine.
OF: Khris Davis vs. Angels ($4,100): Davis hit a grand slam yesterday and has a favorable match up against Tyler Skaggs.
OF: Kyle Schwarber vs. Marlins ($4,500): The Cubs are going to crush Marlins pitching all weekend long. Schwarber homered yesterday in the season opener.
