I decided to go with the Classic 13 game slate on DraftKings tonight. There are some good value match ups in the 7:05 time slot. I know I picked a solid team for tonight because I had $300 dollars left over which. That never happens.
Here is my line up of the day.
P: Lance Lynn, Twins vs. White Sox ($7,500): I don’t like the idea of spending $7,500 on a number three starter like Lynn but he has a good match up at home against an all or nothing, free swinging White Sox line up.
P: Vince Velasquez, Phillies at Rays ($7,900): Velasquez is the ultimate trick or treat starter but he has high strikeout potential and he’s going up against the worst line up in baseball in the Rays.
C: Jonathan Lucroy, A’s at Mariners ($3,300): The power numbers haven’t been there for Lucroy but he is hitting singles and doubles and producing on a nightly basis.
1B: Eric Thames, Brewers at Mets ($4,300): Thames is crushing the ball right now and I love the match up against soft throwing Steven Matz.
2B: Yangervis Solarte, Blue Jays at Indians ($4,200): This is the third time this season I’m buying Solarte. I like him against Steve Clevinger tonight. Solarte has been the Blue Jays most consistent hitter thus far this season. When he plays of course.
3B: Miguel Sano, Twins vs. White Sox ($4,200): Sano is only hitting .250 but he has three dongs on the season. I like the match up tonight against big Lucas Giolito.
SS: Freddie Galvis, Padres vs. Giants ($3,300): Galvis is a cheap source of production. He’s hit the ball well thus far this season and he’s got a sweet match up against soft throwing Ty Blach tonight.
OF: Rhys Hoskins, Phillies at Rays ($5,200): Third time I’m buying Hoskins. I love the match up tonight against Jake Faria at the Trop.
OF: J.D Martinez, Red Sox vs. Orioles ($4,800): Martinez has gotten off to a slow start but he has the potential to bust out tonight against Chris Tillman.
OF: George Springer, Astros vs. Rangers ($4,900): Springer produces points in a lot of different ways. I like the match up against Cole Hamels tonight.
