Daily Fantasy: Baseball Line Up of the Day

I went a classic fan duel line up for today. There are plenty of quality match ups out there even if you have a smaller cap to work with.

Here is my line up for today.

P: Lance McCullers Jr. Astros at White Sox ($8,800): McCullers has been inconsistent thus far but a match up against the lowly White Sox in April is just what the doctor ordered to get his confidence up. There are plenty of big names starting today but McCullers offers the most value.

1B: Jose Martinez, Cardinals vs. Reds ($4,000): Martinez at home against a Reds starter Luis Castillo is a quality match up. Castillo throws gas but he also has a tendency to leave the ball up and Martinez can take advantage of him.

2B: Asdrubal Cabrera, Mets at Braves ($4,000): The veteran utility man has gone 11 for 25 with a home run and seven RBI in his last six games. He is worth playing until further notice.

3B: Mike Moustakas, Royals at Tigers ($3,900): Moose is the only Royals hitter you should employ in DFS. He has always been productive in his career at Comerica Park and today should be no different.

SS: Marcus Semien, A’s vs. Red Sox: Semien has a tough match up against David Price but he homered off of Chris Sale last night and is starting to heat up.

OF: Gregory Polanco, Pirates at Phillies ($4,300): Polanco is off to a hot start but his performance is flying under the radar because of the Pirates hot start. Sure $4,300 is steep but Polanco is hitting off the ball and he has a sweet match up against Nick Pivetta.

OF: Dexter Fowler, Cardinals vs. Reds ($3,200): Fowler homered yesterday and today he goes up against a pitcher in Luis Castillo who has a tendency to leave the ball over the plate. At $3,200, Fowler is worth taking a flyer on.

OF: Ryan Braun, Brewers vs. Marlins ($3,200): The Hebrew Hammer is off to a solid start and he has a nice match up against Marlins pitcher Caleb Smith.
