Daily Fantasy: Baseball Line Up of the Day

There is a good slate of games this week and a good opportunity to make some money. I decided to do a classic line up.

Here is the team I spent my 50K on Draft Kings.

P: Zack Godley, D-Backs At Dodgers ($8,200): Godley has not been as good as he was last season but he has pitched well in his career at Chavez Ravine so I am banking on another stellar performance.

P: Aaron Nola, Phillies vs. Giants ($10,100): I love Nola against a Giants line up that has all of a sudden hit a wall again.

C: Mike Zunino, Mariners at Blue Jays ($3,200): High risk, high reward. Zunino strikes out a ton but he has raw power and playing at a launching pad like the Rogers Center makes him an appealing play.

1B: Joey Gallo, Rangers vs. Tigers ($4,500): Small price to pay for a home match up against Tigers starter Mike Fiers who is prone to giving up home runs.

2B: Gleyber Torres, Yankees vs. Red Sox ($3,900): A match up against Drew Pomeranz is awfully appealing for the young phenom.

3B: Eugenio Suarez, Reds vs. Mets ($4,700): Suarez is starting to get comfortable again at the plate after missing some time with an injury. Facing Jason Vargas at home is the biggest reason I overspent on Suarez. Vargas tops out at 88-91. He leaves one over the plate at Great American SMALLPark and it’s a souvy.

SS: Addison Russell, Cubs vs. Marlins ($3,200): At this point I need to start managing my money better if I want a quality outfield. Russell was affordable and a good play at home against Jose Urena and the Marlins.

OF: Khris Davis, A’s vs. Astros ($4,300): Davis strikes out a bunch which worries me against McCullers. He also hits home runs which could happen against a sinker ball pitcher.

OF: Kyle Schwarber, Cubs vs. Marlins ($4,800): Schwarber crushes right handed pitching at home. I love this match up against Urena at Wrigley.

OF: Domingo Santana, Brewers vs. Indians ($3,000): At this point, I’ve run out of money. I don’t really like the match up against Corey Kluber but Santana was best available.
