It is a light day schedule wise but that didn’t deter me from doing a showdown game between the Red Sox and the Mariners. I love the line ups in this match up. I think both could do some damage tonight against David Price and Felix Hernandez respectively.
Here is my flex line and my thoughts on my line up.
Line Up
Mookie Betts, OF, Red Sox, ($11,400)
J.D Martinez, OF, Red Sox, ($10,000)
Craig Kimbrel, RP, Red Sox, ($3,100)
Mitch Haniger, OF, Mariners, ($8,400)
Nelson Cruz, DH, Mariners, ($8,800)
Mike Zunino, C, Mariners, ($5,200)
Total Spent: $46, 900
Line-Up Thoughts: David Price and Felix Hernandez are two of the best pitchers of their generation but both have been inconsistent this season. They could be either very good tonight or they can could get hit early and knocked out of the game. I think both will struggle against what are two deep and balanced line ups. Both the Red Sox and the Mariners have length and power in their line-ups. Both teams can hit the long ball. It was a no-brainer to draft the line up I did. I went with patient hitters who have power. They can drive the pitch count early for both Price and Hernandez.
