Going with the classic line up today. There several good match ups today and as a result, there are several line up deals out there.
Here is how I spent my $50K on Draft Kings.
P: Junior Guerra, Brewers vs. Phillies ($8,200): Guerra has been terrific at home this season and I like his stuff against a Phillies line up that chases pitches out of the strike zone.
P: Steven Wright, Red Sox at Mariners ($7,200): The knuckleballer has been very good in his last three starts for the Red Sox. Put him in a pitchers park with that knuckle ball and Wright will be tough to hit.
C: Evan Gattis, Astros vs. Royals ($4,300): Gattis is absolutely raking right now, especially at home. I love this match up against Danny Duffy.
1B: Justin Bour, Marlins at Orioles ($4,100): Orioles starter Alex Cobb has been awful thus far this season. He throws batting practice every other start. I expect Bour to have a big day.
2B: Matt Carpenter, Cardinals vs. Cubs ($3,800): Carpenter has become a legit DFS bargain now that he has turned things around.
3B: Travis Shaw, Brewers vs. Phillies ($4,000): I almost feel like Shaw is a must play in DFS every time the Brewers are at home. He always does something special.
SS: Trea Turner, Nationals at Blue Jays ($4,400): Turner’s ability to reach out and hit the ball to all parts of the field is the perfect approach against a guy like Jays starter Marco Estrada.
OF: Adam Duvall, Reds at Pirates ($3,400): Duvall is my fall back guy in DFS. Any time I am running out of money, I draft him because he is cheap power.
OF: George Springer, Astros vs. Royals ($5,400): Springer has been lethal at home versus left handed pitching this season. I love the match up versus Danny Duffy.
OF:Giancarlo Stanton, Yankees vs. Rays ($5,000): Stanton versus a young fireballer like Ryan Stanek is a no brainer. If Stanek leaves anything over the plate, Stanton will flip it into a souvenir.
