It’s a new week and a new line up. I am going with a classic line up tonight. Here is how I spent my $50,000.
P: Dylan Covey, White Sox at Indians ($7,000): Covey is not only a great streaming option in standard fantasy leagues but a great option in DFS as well. Covey has been terrific of late but he has a tough match up.
P: Miles Mikolas, Cardinals at Phillies ($8,300): Mikolas has been one of the best stories in baseball thus far. He doesn’t over power hitters but he knows how to pitch and ends racking up the strikeouts as a result.
C: Evan Gattis, Astros vs. Rays ($4,300): Gattis has stayed hot and he’s got a good match up against against the Rays Ryan Stanek tonight.
1B: Jesus Aguilar, Brewers at Pirates ($4,300): Aguilar has continued to hit despite losing playing time Eric Thames. He has a good match up against the soft throwing Trevor Williams tonight.
2B: Josh Harrison, Pirates vs. Brewers ($3,900): Harrison hits singles, doubles, triples and home runs. He also steals bags which makes him a great DFS play, especially a soft throwing like Jhoulys Chachin.
3B: Alex Bregman, Astros vs. Rays ($4,600): You can’t go wrong with Astros hitters at home, especially hitters like Bregman who has turned it on in the past month.
SS: Nick Ahmed, D-Backs at Angels ($3,400): Ahmed has come to earth big time but he is an affordable option that produces.
OF: Brandon Nimmo, Mets at Rockies ($4,900): Nimmo has been more than a suitable replacement for Yoenis Cespedes. He hits for power and can steal the occasional bag. Nimmo has been a nice play in DFS averaging 7.8 points per game in Draft Kings scoring.
OF: Tommy Pham, Cardinals at Phillies ($4,600): I like Pham against Nick Pivetta at Citizen’s Bank Park. Pham is a complete hitter who can hit for power and average. Pham homered last night.
OF: Christian Yelich, Brewers at Pirates ($4,700): I really like Yelich against Pirates starter Trevor Williams. Williams has struggled against left handed hitters this season so Yelich is primed for a good night at the plate.
