There are some quality games and match ups on the docket this weekend. I’m going with a classic line up today.
Here is how I spent my $50,000 on Draft Kings.
P: Marco Gonzales, Mariners vs. Royals ($7,800): Gonzales struggled in his last start against the Red Sox but has a quality match up tonight against the Royals.
P: Joe Musgrove, Pirates at Padres ($7,600): The Padres are a great match up for any starter including one who is coming off a rough start in his last outing.
C: Kurt Suzuki, Braves at Cardinals ($3,700): Suzuki has quietly had an all star caliber season. His numbers at the plate are solid (.290, 8 HR’s, 28 RBI) and he has done a terrific managing the Braves young staff. Suzuki has hit the ball well of late and worthy of a DFS play.
1B: Max Muncy, Dodgers vs. Rockies ($4,700): Muncy has been a force at home. He is worth this price at Chavez Revine.
2B: Yangervis Solarte, Blue Jays vs. Tigers ($4,000): Solarte has hit lefties well. He can get on the score sheet in a variety of ways in DFS.
3B: Travis Shaw, Brewers at Reds ($4,100): Travis Shaw is a pull hitter who should take advantage of the Great American Small Park this weekend.
SS: Jose Peraza, Reds vs. Brewers ($4,200): Peraza might not hit for power but he is a cross category producer who steals bases and scores runs. Peraza has a good match up against Chase Anderson tonight.
OF: Yasiel Puig, Dodgers vs. Rockies ($3,800): Great value pick. Puig’s power aren’t what we’re accustomed too but he could have a big weekend at the plate against the Rockies.
OF: Aaron Judge, Yankees vs. Red Sox ($5,400): I love the match up against Eduardo Rodriguez tonight. Judge crushes left handed pitching at home.
OF: Justin Upton, Angels at Orioles ($4,700): J-Up has hit a rough patch of late but I like the match up against David Hess tonight. Camden Yards solves a lot of hitters problems.
