Daily Fantasy: Baseball Line Up Of The Day

Daniel Murphy isn’t just a nice addition for the Cubs. He’s a great pick up for DFS players as well.

It’s a limited schedule today in baseball but we like a lot of the match ups so we went with a classic line up. Here’s how we spent our 50K.

Line-Up

P: Trevor Cahill, A’s at Twins ($9,200)

P: Tyler Glasnow, Rays vs. Royals: ($8,400)

C: Jonathan Lucroy, A’s at Twins ($2,900)

1B: Daniel Murphy, Cubs vs. Reds ($4,100)

2B: Wily Adames , Rays vs. Royals, ($4,200)

3B: Johan Camargo, Braves at Marlins ($4,000)

SS: Miguel Rojas, Marlins vs. Braves ($3,200)

OF: Khris Davis, A’s vs. Twins ($5,700)

OF: Nick Markakis, Braves at Marlins ($4,100)

OF: Kyle Schwarber, Cubs vs. Reds ($4,200)

Thoughts On My Line-Up: Both Trevor Cahill and Tyler Glasnow have great pitching match-ups against two of the worst offenses in Major League Baseball. Both are strikeout pitchers and as long as they stay away from 3-2 counts and don’t walk guys, they should be fine.

Jonathan Lucroy doesn’t have a ton of value especially at a pitchers park like Target Field but he has hit the ball well of late and he is a consistent run producer for the position.

I like the fact that Daniel Murphy can play first, second and third. He is versatile and adds some much needed thump to the Cubs line up. I think he plays every day moving forward making him a quality DFS play.

Adames, Camargo and Rojas all face struggling lefties in Sean Newcomb and Danny Duffy. Both starters have power stuff but they also have control issues, especially Newcomb.

I had $13,000 left to spend so I loaded up in the outfield. Khris Davis is destroying the ball and there is no park that can contain him right now.

Nick Markakis and Kyle Schwarber are both hitting the ball well and they are luxuries against Eliesler Hernandez and Anthony Descalfani.
