Daily Fantasy: Baseball Line Up of the Day

We are going with a Cubs, Braves showdown line up tonight in game one of a huge series down in the ATL.

Here is how we spent our $50,000 on Draft Kings.

Line Up

Jason Heyward, OF, Cubs ($5,900)

Kyle Schwarber, OF, Cubs ($8,100)

Javy Baez, 2B, Cubs ($10,000)

Ronald Acuna Jr., OF, Braves ($10,200)

Ozzie Albies, 2B, Braves ($8,100)

Nick Markakis, OF, Braves ($6,200)

Total Spent: $49,300

Line-Up Thoughts: I stayed away from pitching in this game. Both line ups have a lot of power and Suntrust Park is a launch pad in the summer as we’ve seen. Just look at last night’s game against the Rays for example. There were three home runs hit and they accounted for six of the thirteen runs scored in the game.

I picked Kyle Schwarber and Javy Baez from the Cubs because they offer the best power potential in their line up other than Anthony Rizzo. Rizzo was too pricey for my taste. I like Jason Heyward in DFS because he doesn’t strike out a lot and always finds himself on the score sheet.

As for the Braves, I went with Ronald Acuna Jr for obvious reasons. He can hit for power, hit the ball in the alleys or down the line and steal bags. He is a complete hitter who could put up big numbers in DFS. Ozzie Albies is a similar player but not as productive a hitter as Acuna. Nick Markakis has been one of my go to hitters in DFS. I think he is a great value at $6,200 dollars.
