It is time to start reshuffling the deck when it comes to your roster. Here is who you should add and drop for week two.
Add Em!
1. James Connor, RB, Steelers: Connor is a must own until the Le’Veon situation is figured out. Hen it is, the clock will strike midnight and Connor will be nothing more than a handcuff.
2. Phillip Lindsey, RB, Broncos: It’s hard to figure out the Broncos backfield situation. For now it is a timeshare between Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay. If that is the case, Lindsay is worth owning because at the very least he offers flex value.
3. Jared Cook, RB, Raiders: The Raiders offense struggled in week one against the Rams but the one constant was Cook. Jon Gruden loves to get his tight ends involved in the passing game early and often. That makes Cook a TE1 option in standard and PPR leagues.
4. Quincy Enunwa, WR, Jets: Enunwa is back and healthy. He developed a strong rapport with rookie quarterback Sam Darnold on Monday night and looks to be the Jets number one option in the passing game. Enunwa offers WR2 value.
5. George Kittle, TE, 49ers: The 49ers offense is limited in terms of weapons for Jimmy Garoppolo. Kittle appears to be one of his top options which makes him a TE1 candidate in 12 team leagues and a flex option in 10 team leagues.
Drop Em!
1. Ronald Jones, RB, Bucs: Jones struggled in the pre-season and did nothing in week one. It might be time to move on from him already.
2. Matt Brieda, RB, 49ers: It appears that Alfred Morris is in line to get more carries which means Brieda has no value right now.
3. Bills Receivers, Tight Ends: The Bills don’t have a quarterback. Unless Josh Allen and a putrid offensive line improve, I would stay away from Bills recevers and tight ends.
4. Marlon Mack, RB, Colts: Mack is hurt and as a result rookie Nyheim Hines has closed whatever gap there was between him and Mack. Mack has upside but he might not be worth holding onto for that reason. A timeshare is likely in Indy.
5. Allen Hurns, WR, Cowboys: The Cowboys offense looks like it’s going to struggle this season. Hurns had his opportunity last week to assume the number one receiver spot and he did not. Move on!
