Fantasy Football: Sit Em, Start Em For Week 16

It is time to sit Leonard Fournette. He is no longer producing at a high level.

It’s championship round time. Here is who you should start and start.

Start Em!

Ravens D/ST: Yes. I said it. Start the Ravens against the Chargers in L.A. Los Angeles is notoriously slow out of the gate and the opportunistic Ravens defense has played well on the road this season.

Derrick Henry, RB, Titans: A must start moving forward. I don’t need to remind of how good his numbers have been the past three weeks.

Titans D/ST: The Titans have a terrific match up against a Redskins offense that is struggling mightily thanks to injuries.

Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings: Despite his recent struggles, Thielen has a terrific match up against a Lions secondary that has struggled of late. With Darius Slay matching up on Stefon Diggs, look for Thielen to get a lot of one on one opportunities on the outside and capitalize on them.

Damien Williams, RB, Chiefs: Spencer Ware is once again out which makes Williams an RB1 candidate. Andy Reid likes to feature in the running back in the passing as we saw with Kareem Hunt and other backs he has had in the past. Williams is a good fit in the Chiefs offense and he has a good match up against a Seahawks defense that has surrendered the fifth most points to opposing running backs this season in the passing game.

Jamaal Williams, RB, Packers: The uncertainty of Aaron Rodgers playing has steered people (like me) away from Williams. I’m an idiot. If you picked up Williams this week, play him. Williams will get plenty of touches regardless of who the quarterback is. He offer receiving value in PPR leagues and will score in the red zone.

DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Broncos: Hamilton struggled last week against the Browns but the Raiders secondary isn’t nearly as good so if you are looking for possible flex play on the waiver wire, give Hamilton a look.

Kalen Ballage, RB, Dolphins: Ballage won’t get more than 10-15 touches but he could be a worthwhile play in standard scoring leagues because his scoring appeal. I would add Ballage if I were playing in a deep league.

Baker Mayfield, QB, Browns: Mayfield threw for 258 yards and four touchdown passes in the first meeting between the Bengals and Browns. Look for more of the same at home today.

Sit Em!

Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars: The Jaguars offense has been a mess of late and it has impacted Fournette’s usage and value. Sit him.

Vance McDonald, TE, Steelers: McDonald is no longer the productive tight end he was at the beginning of the season and he faces a Saints defense that shuts down opposing tight ends. Sit McDonald.

Kenny Golladay, WR, Lions: Golladay is too inconsistent and Xavier Rhodes will match up on him. Moral of the story. Sit Golladay.

Texans D/ST: The Texans have surrendered the most passing yards in the NFL the last four games. That’s not good against an Eagles team that throws the ball 70% of the time and needs to win.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Lions: The Lions can’t run the ball anymore and Detroit will have to throw to win. That’s a recipe for disaster against an elite Vikings defense.
