Fantasy Hockey: Draft Kings Line Up for 2/1/19

Viktor Arvidsson has been one of the hottest goal scorers in the NHL in the past month. Arvidsson offers great value in DFS.

Here is our Draft Kings Line up in Fantasy Hockey for February 1st.

C: Ryan Johansen, Predators at Panthers ($4,900): The Panthers have had a lot of defensively and a big centerman like Johansen could give them problems down the middle.

C: Evgeni Malkin, Penguins vs. Ottawa ($6,300): Malkin has been hot and cold at times but he generally plays well at home and he has a great match up tonight against the defensively challenged Senators. Expect Malkin to get on the score sheet tonight and hit his season average of 4.0 points per game.

W: Viktor Arvidsson, Predators at Panthers ($7,000): Arvidsson is on fire. He’s getting to the net and finishing secondary scoring chances. I like the match up against the Panthers tonight for the Predators. Florida has struggled defensively especially in transition.

W: Jaime Benn, Stars vs. Wild ($4,900): Benn has been a disappointment but he is still a power forward who can score around the net and from the slot. Benn is a great DFS play despite his inconsistent play.

W: Tyler Johnson, Lightning at Islanders ($5,000): Scoring will be tough against a structured defensive team like the Islanders. This game will come down to third and fourth line scoring. Tampa is the deeper team. I can see Johnson getting on the score sheet.

D: Ryan Ellis, Predators at Panthers ($4,900): The Preds will activate their defenseman and let them jump in the rush tonight. Ellis won’t score like a P.K Subban or Roman Josi can but he could pick up a couple of assists and be a positive plus, minus player in this game.

D: Matt Niskanen, Capitals vs. Flames ($4,100): Niskanen is an affordable option who averages 2.7 points per game. Quarterbacking the Caps second power play unit means Niskanen has the potential to jump on the score sheet.

G: Devan Dubnyk, Wild at Stars ($7,600): Steep price for Dubnyk but I like the match up against a Stars team that limited in terms of scoring. They are too heavy. That benefits Dubnyk and the Wild.

UTIL: P.K Subban, Predators at Panthers ($5,200): Can you tell I like this Preds, Panthers match up? I’m all in on the Preds tonight. Florida plays a wide open style. That means that opposition defenseman can head man the puck and join the rush. Subban will have room to operate and he will do that.
