Fantasy Basketball: Draft Kings Showdown line up for 3/9/19

We’re going with a Celtics, Lakers showdown. The NBA’s greatest rivalry of all time has lost a little of its luster in recent years but there is still some deep seeded disdain between these two times.

The Lakers beat the Celtics in Boston last month on a buzzer beater by former Celtic Rajon Rondo.

Here is our line up for tonight.

CAPT: Jayson Tatum, SF, Boston Celtics ($12,000): Tatum has been up and down this season but he has been playing better of late and with the Lakers front court banged up, he will get opportunities to take the ball to the rim.

Jaylen Brown, SF/PF Boston Celtics ($5,600): Brown is still inconsistent as a shooter but he has been more aggressive of late in terms of getting the ball to the basket. He is going to have to stay aggressive tonight because the Celtics are going to look to push the ball in transition.

Kyrie Irving, PG, Boston Celtics ($11,000): Irving is questionable but he’ll play and expect him to have a big game as he goes up again former teammate LeBron James. The Lakers guards have struggled defensively this season. Irving will exploit that.

LeBron James, PF, Los Angeles Lakers ($13,000): With Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma both out means LeBron will get more touches and score more points. Even if James plays less minutes, he’ll still fill up the score sheet.

Kentavious Caldwell Pope, SG, Los Angeles Lakers ($2,400): The Lakers are limited in terms of options. Pope is a shooter and he offers high volume scoring potential so play him tonight.

Josh Hart, SG/SF, Los Angeles Lakers ($4,000): Hart is getting starter minutes now and he is making the most of them. Hart can score but he has also proven he can be a distributor and rebound the basketball consistently as well.
