The Flyers and Penguins renew one of the NHL’s most bitter rivalries tonight as Philadelphia visits Pittsburgh. The last time these two teams met was February 23rd in the Stadium Series outdoor. The Flyers stormed back to beat the Penguins in overtime.
Here is my showdown line up for tonight.
Sidney Crosby, C, Penguins ($11,800): Sid the Kid has been at the center of the Penguins resurgence and he has primed for a big game. Crosby is averaging 17 PPG in Draft Kings scoring.
Evgeni Malkin, C, Penguins ($11,400): Geno has been awesome in the past six weeks. He has recaptured the form we are accustomed to after a slow start. Malkin and the Flyers have a history of not liking each other. Expect the lovefest to continue tonight.
Phil Kessel, RW, Penguins ($8,700): Kessel has had a down year by his standards but he has picked it of late and will get more top line ice time now that we are inching closer to the playoffs.
Travis Konecny, RW, Flyers ($6,400): Konecny continues to be a quality producer in standard and DFS leagues. He is playing on the second line and is averaging more ice time than at any other point in his career.
James van Riemsdyk, LW, Flyers ($7,300): You know my affinity for JVR in DFS. Especially in big games. He is a must play in match ups like this.
Michael Raffl, LW, Flyers ($3,400): I had to play Raffl if I wanted to load up on Penguins.
