Fantasy Baseball: Draft Kings line up of the day

Day three of the baseball season offers us some great hitting match ups. We are going to look to take advantage of them on Draft Kings.

Here is our line up for today.

P: Trevor Bauer, Indians at Twins ($9,800): Bauer has a tough match up in his first start of the season against an improved Twins line up. The Twins also have a lot of swing and miss guys in their line up and for a pitcher like Bauer, that’s a recipe for success.

P: Aaron Sanchez, Blue Jays vs. Tigers ($7,000): Blue Jays starters have absolutely dominated the Tigers through two starts and Aaron Sanchez has the stuff to continue the dominance today. Detroit’s line up lacks power so a pitcher like Sanchez who relies on his off speed should do well against them.

C: Evan Gattis, Astros at Rays ($3,800): Gattis isn’t a great play against Rays starter Tyler Glasnow but Glasnow does have a tendency to leave pitches over the plate and the hope is Gattis can get into one.

1B: Will Myers, Padres vs. Giants ($4,400): Myers is off to a good start offensively homering in the season opener. Giants starter Dereck Rodriguez has good stuff but he doesn’t overpower opposing hitters. Not only that but he also has a tendency to leave pitches over the plate. Myers can take advantage of a starter like that.

2B: Jonathan Villar, Orioles at Yankees ($3,800): Villar is the only Oriole worth playing other than Trey Mancini. He hits for some power, steals bags and draws walks. He’s a solid DFS play as a result.

SS: Tim Beckham, Mariners vs. Red Sox ($3,300): I am totally on board with Beckham and his power until further notice. I really like the match up tonight against Eduardo Rodriguez.

3B: Anthony Rendon, Nationals vs. Mets ($3,900): Rendon has a tough match up against Noah Syndergaard but he has gone 9 for 26 against him with two home runs. Rendon has hit .370 against the big righty in his career.

OF: Aaron Judge, Yankees vs. Orioles ($5,500): Come on. The Yankees are must starts in DFS this weekend against the Orioles. Judge has big time offensive potential in all three games.

OF: Matt Kemp, Reds vs. Pirates ($4,300): I like Kemp against Trevor Williams. Williams is not a power pitcher and relies on his off speed pitches to compete. Kemp has feasted on pitchers in his career that lack the fastball to put him away.

OF: Marcel Ozuna, Cardinals at Brewers ($4,100): The Cardinals and Brewers have been involved in a couple slugfests through the first two games of the season. I get the feeling that Ozuna will join the party at some point. He’s a worthwhile play as a result.
