Line-Up Thoughts: I like Buehler a lot in this match up against the Astros. Houston beat up on Seattle’s pitching this past weekend but none of those starters are even in Buehler’s league.
Zach Davies in San Francisco against a below average line up like the Giants is a no brainer. San Diego has hit the ball well out of the gate thus far so you know the run support will be there Davies.
In case you couldn’t tell, I love the Royals line up against Detroit’s starting rotation. Whitt Merrifield, Salvador Perez and Maikel Franco all had big nights at the plate last night and look for that to continue against Tigers starter Rony Garcia. I am playing them plus Jorge Soler. I have a lot of faith in this Royal line up bit the match up is good.
Pete Alonso and Michael Conforto both homered for the Mets last night. They have another great match up tonight against Red Sox starter Matt Hall. Yeah. I don’t know who is either.
It’s tough to find diamonds in the rough with so few games so you might as well hang your hat on the guys you know and lean on them.
