I went with the 4:05 games today. I felt I had more options in terms of my line up and getting positive plays.
I like Clayton Kershaw making jus first start of the season in Arizona. Sure, the D-Backs line up is potent and ChaseField is a home run park but Kershaw has the kind of stuff that could dominate Arizona’s undisciplined like up.
Chris Bassitt doesn’t have overwhelming stuff but he’s an affordable, productive play against the Mariners.
Despite my confidence in Bassitt, I am playing three Mariners in my line up today in Shed Long, JP Crawford and Austin Nola.
I like Astros hitters today against struggling Shohei Ottani. That’s why I am playing Yuli Gurriel
Mike Yastrzemski and David Fletcher are two of the hottest hitters in baseball right now and high end, cheap plays.
Joey Gallo and Mookie Betts give my line up run production potential at a good price. I was able to fit both in.
