Daily Fantasy: Baseball Line Up of the Day

Frankie Montas has a favorable match up against the Royals tonight but be careful. Kansas City is sneaky offensively.

I am going with a classic line up for today. I decided to invest heavily in my outfield. I liked the match ups. Here is how I spent my $50,000 on Draft Kings.

P: Miles Mikolas, Cardinals vs. Pirates ($8,700): Mikolas has been terrific in all formats this season. He has been an affordable option who racks up the strikeouts and the points. He has a favorable match up against the Pirates tonight.

P: Frankie Montas, A’s at Royals ($7,100): I like the value here with Montas but be careful. The Royals have ruined many of my nights this season by going off offensively. Case in point. Wednesday night against Francisco Romero of the Twins.

C: Wilson Ramos, Rays at Mariners ($3,700): Ramos might just be the best value in DFS right now. Catchers who hit in the 3 or 4 spot in a line up are hard to find. Ramos’ ability to drive in runs makes him a valuable commodity.

1B: Jesus Aguilar, Brewers at White Sox ($4,300): Aguilar is a hit or miss proposition (literally) but he could rack up the hits against the White Sox this weekend.

2B: Yangervis Solarte, Blue Jays at Tigers ($3,900): Solarte has cooled off of late but he is one of those guys who some how winds up getting you points anyways. He is a punch and judy hitter with power if that makes any sense.

3B: Matt Carpenter, Cardinals vs. Pirates ($3,900): Slowly but surely, Carpenter is resurrecting his season and in the process becoming a valuable DFS play. I like the match up against the volatile Jamison Taillon tonight.

SS: Miguel Rojas, Marlins at Diamondbacks ($3,300): Rojas is a nice value with some power. Arizona’s starting pitching has been very hittable of late. Rojas is a good hitter who can make life tough on opposing pitchers.

OF: Khris Davis, A’s at Royals ($4,500): Davis is back after missing the past week with a hammy strain. The pint size power hitter has a nice match up against Ian Kennedy tonight. Kennedy has a tendency to work the corners against right handed hitters. If Davis can pull the ball and be patient, he will have a big night.

OF: Tommy Pham, Cardinals vs. Pirates ($4,500): Pham provides you with production in so many different ways. He is a terrific play in DFS. Especially against a pitcher like Taillon.

OF: Mike Trout, Angels vs. Rangers ($6,000): Mike Trout is a luxury in DFS. When you can affordable him, you pick him up. The match-up against Big Sexy Bartolo Colon is too good to pass up on tonight.
