Altuve’s return to the Astros line up is big in fantasy and reality.
We are going to with a classic line up on Draft Kings. There are a lot of day games today. Here is how spent our $50,000.
P: Zack Godley, Diamondbacks vs. Padres ($9700): Godley was terrific in his last start, shutting down the Giants for seven innings. He has a great match up against the Padres today. I like Godley to continue the roll he has been on.
P: Erasmo Ramirez, Mariners vs. Orioles ($6,200): Ramirez got lit up in his last start against the Padres but prior to that start he had only allowed two runs in 16 innings. Ramirez has a prime match up tonight against the light hitting Orioles.
C: Francisco Cervelli, Pirates vs. Reds ($3,900): Cervelli has been a nice source of production for the Pirates (.259/11HR/49RBI/.827OPS) when healthy. Matt Harvey starting for the Reds means there is some upside to buying in on Cervelli.
1B: Yonder Alonso, Indians vs. Royals ($4,300): Alonso has cooled off of late but he has hit well against the Royals this season. That makes him a good pick up today against Jakob Junis, a hard throwing righty who is inconsistent.
2B: Jose Altuve, Astros vs. Twins ($4,400): Altuve is starting to get his legs under him and has hit the ball better of late. I like his match up at home today against Kyle Gibson. Altuve is patient at the plate and can draw walks.
3B: Miguel Sano, Twins at Astros ($3,700): Sano has been a disaster this season but I like the righty, lefty match up against Dallas Kuechel at Minute Maid Park today.
SS: Asdrubal Cabrera, Phillies at Marlins ($3,900): Cabrera continues to be one of the Phillies most consistent hitters. That makes him an affordable and productive. Two things you want in DFS.
OF: David Peralta, Diamondbacks vs. Padres ($4,900): Peralta is just crushing opposing pitching right now. Lefty, righty, it doesn’t matter. Peralta is hitting for average and power. He is a must play in DFS. Especially at this price.
OF: A.J Pollack, Diamondbacks vs. Padres ($4,200): Pollack is a good value given his power potential at home. A match up against Bryan Mitchell, who has an ERA north of seven also makes Pollack appealing.
OF: Kyle Schwarber, Cubs at Brewers ($4,800): I like the match up against Brewers righty Kyle Davies. Davies leaves stuff over the plate. Taylor made pitches for a left handed hitter with a long swing.
