Our DFS Line up for the day. The cash values are based on Draft Kings value of players.
C: David Krejci, Bruins vs. Avs ($4,900): Krejci is starting to come on again and he is playing much better at home. The Avs are struggling in all three phases of the game so the match up is right.
C: John Tavares, Leafs at Rangers ($6,900): Tavares has had a great first season in Toronto and is coming off a game against the Montreal Canadiens in which he scored. This match up against the Rangers is the ideal match up to over spend on Tavares.
W: Michael Ferland, Hurricanes at Devils ($4,700): Ferland has played well of late and his play is indicative of just how good the Canes have been playing of late. A big power forward who can finish in front of the net, Ferland is a good play against a Devils team that have struggled defensively.
W: Tyler Johnson, Lightning at Panthers ($5,100): When the Lightning and Panthers get together, it is always a high scoring affair. Johnson has settled into his third line role. The production hasn’t been of late in terms of goals but the match is right for Johnson.
W: Justin Williams, Hurricanes at Devils ($4,800): Williams had a good January statistically and is consistently on the score sheet in DFS. The Devils are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Williams could take advantage of that in this match up.
D: Erik Gustafsson, Blackhawks vs. Red Wings: Gustafsson has 3 goals and 2 assists in his last five games. With 11 goals and 23 assists on the season, the young Swede is becoming one of the top scoring defenseman in the hockey.
D: Ryan Pulock, Islanders vs. Wild ($4,700): Pulock scored against the Wild yesterday. He is getting more time on the power play and Barry Trotz is getting him involved offensively.
G: Connor Hellebuyck, Jets at Sabres ($7,500): The Jets have struggled recently but Hellebuyck is still a great play today, especially against a Sabres team that has really struggled to score goals in their recent slump. Hellebuyck is a steal.
UTIL: Mike Hoffman, Panthers vs. Lightning ($5,800): As I mentioned earlier, the Panthers and the Lightning are usually engaged in shootouts. Hoffman has been the Panthers best offensive player all season long. Hoffman has two goals and an assist in his last three games.
