Fantasy Basketball: Combing the Wire for the week of March 4th

It is the final week of the regular season so it’s time to tweak those rosters so you can make a playoff push.

Here are waiver wire options to consider this week.

PG: Patrick Beverley, Clippers: The Clippers have made a late season playoff push and much of that can be attributed to Beverly who has averaged essentially a triple double in his last ten games. He is only owned in 20.8% of all ESPN leagues so grab him if you need point guard depth for the playoffs.

SG: Avery Bradley, Grizzlies: Bradley has been very good for the Grizzlies since being traded by the Clippers to Memphis. He has averaged 16.3 PPG in eight games as a Grizzlie. The minutes are there and so is the scoring opportunities. He is a must add if you need more offense in the playoffs.

SF: Robert Covington, Timberwolves: Covington has been out of action for two months but he is nearing a return. He is averaging 15.7 fantasy points per game and is owned in 36% of ESPN leagues. He is more than likely available in your league so grab him if you need some depth at the forward position.

PF: Larry Nance Jr, Cavaliers: Nance is averaging 16.9 fantasy points per game and is owned in 54% of ESPN leagues. If he is available in your league, you should give a long look because he is eligible to play power forward and center.

C: Kelly Olynyk, Heat: Olynyk is playing better of late and could be a quality addition down the stretch if you need a big man who can score.

UTILITY: Tyler Johnson, (PG) Suns: Johnson has gotten more minutes as the season has gone on and he has made them count. He recently had a 29 point game against the Hawks and he is averaging 10.7 fantasy points per game. He is only owned in 8.4% of ESPN leagues so he is a worthy pick up if you need a bench option.
