It’s a full slate tonight with 13 games at 7:05, 4 games at 8:05 and 3 games at 9:38. Here are my plays of the day in DFS
Great Plays
Robbie Ray, P, Mariners ($9,800)
Alek Manoah, P, Blue Jays ($9,000)
Will Smith, C, Dodgers ($5,200)
Jose RamÃrez, 3B, Guardians ($5,400)
Juan Soto, OF, Nationals ($6,500)
Robbie Ray has been one of the best pitchers in baseball the past month striking 42 batters in his last five starts. Alek Manoah gets a great home match up against a depleted Royals line up. He is averaging 20.0 FPPS this season.
Will Smith is an expensive play for a catcher but he has scored in double digits in his last four games.
Jose Ramirez hasn’t been great of late but I like him all weekend long against a weak Tigers starting rotation. Juan Soto is riding an 18 game hitting streak and went for 4-5 last night.
Good Plays
Jose Urquidy, P, Astros ($8,000)
C.J Cron, 1B, Rockies ($5,400)
Luis Robert, OF, White Sox ($5,800)
Urquidy has a great match up at home against the A’s and why he has been inconsistent at times, the price is right at $8,000
C.J Cron has a great match up at home against Jose Quintana. Quintana’s off-speed stuff can be tough to catch up to but if there one guy in the Rockies that can, it’s Cron.
Luis Robert hit a grand slam last night and has double digit points in his last three games. Robert is expensive but if you can squeeze him in, do it.
Sneaky Plays
Zach Plesac, P, Guardians ($7,200)
Josh Naylor, 1B/OF, Guardians
($3,800)
Kyle Farmer, SS, Reds ($2,700)
The Tigers line up has next to no power and with Zach Plesac finally rounding into form, he is a good play tonight.
Staying with the Guardians. Josh Naylor homered last night in Cleveland’s win. Naylor also offers position versatility in that he can play first or in the outfield.
Kyle Farmer has been a sneaky good play in DFS all season and tonight is no exception. He gets 5 to 10 every night it seems.
