Here are ten players available on the waiver wire that you should consider adding this week.
1.Jason Zucker, F, Wild: Zucker has scored seven goals in his last four games. If you are looking for a hot streaming option, especially in DFS, grab Zucker. He is still relatively cheap.
2.Charlie Lindgren, G, Canadiens: Lindgren has been a pleasant surprise filling in for the injured Carey Price. He is sporting a 1.39 goals against average and a .957 save percentage. He is only owned in 30% of all formats so if you need a goalie, grab him. He has solid match-ups this week, especially Thursday against the lowly Coyotes.
3. Jordan Staal, F, Hurricanes: Staal has six goals and seven assists in his last 13 games. He has found the scoring touch that made him one of the best young centermen in the NHL at one time. Pick up Staal now while he is affordable in DFS formats.
4. Yanni Gourde, F, Lightning: Gourde is versatile in that he can play both wing spots. He is currently getting 17 minutes of ice time but it is on the Lightning’s third line. That means he will have plenty of opportunities to score because Bolts coach Jon Cooper likes using four lines.
5. William Karlsson, F, Golden Knights: The brother of Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson has been on fire of late. He has scored 3 goals in his last six games and he has 10 shots on goal during that span. At 6-1, he is a big, athletic centerman who can distribute the puck and finish. Karlsson is a worthwhile grab in DFS. He provides cheap offense. Go get him!
6. Alexander Kerfoot, F, Avalanche: The Avs don’t win a lot of games but their young players are producing from a fantasy standpoint. Kerfoot has been hot of late scoring four goals in his last four games. He is a worthwhile streaming option if you need a fill in this week. He is also worth grabbing in DFS because he is affordable right now.
7. David Perron, F, Golden Knights: The veteran winger plays 18 minutes a night and is a plus 2 overall. Perron plays in all situations and he scores enough that he is worth rostering.
8. Rick Nash, F, Rangers: FINALLY!! Rick Nash is back after being in witness protection to start the season. You knew Nash was going to turn it around. Nash has four goals in his last three games. He is rolling right now but he is only owned in 33 percent of all formats. Grab him if he is sitting on the wire in your league.
9. Artem Anisimov, F, Blackhawks: The veteran winger had a hat trick against the New York Rangers and starting to carve a niche for him on the Blackhawks second line. he is not worth rostering long term but he is worth taking a flyer on in DFS.
10. Michael Ferland, F, Flames: The young winger has scored in six of the Flames last seven games. Ferland is on quiet the scoring streak and should be owned in all formats. He is poised for a breakout season after a slow start.
